Our Story
Tucked away in the quiet countryside along the banks of the River Erne, our home has stood watch over this landscape for nearly two centuries. Built in the 19th century as a working millhouse, it once echoed with the rhythm of stone and water as local corn was ground into flour for surrounding communities.
Though time has softened its edges, the spirit of the mill remains. The original stone buildings still rest gently throughout the gardens, silent reminders of a place shaped by craft, patience, and the steady flow of the river. What was once a hub of industry has now become a haven of calm.
Today, the millhouse has been lovingly reimagined as a welcoming bed and breakfast, where history and hospitality meet. Guests are invited to slow down, wander the grounds, listen to the river, and experience the quiet beauty of rural County Cavan — a place where the past is never far away and every stay becomes part of the story.
